EMMAUS were the cost managers for the 45,000sqft fit out of Nesta’s new headquarter building. The building provides flexible accomoodation for Nesta and other government tenants and so the project involved a flexible design to allow collaboration as well as sub-division.
Nesta is the UK’s innovation foundation. They help people and organisations bring great ideas to life. They do this by providing investments and grants and mobilising research, networks and skills.
Nesta’s vision for the project was to create an innovation hub that will co-locate the Nesta charity with organisations in the Nesta Group and others that they partner and collaborate with in a place where people can connect, ideas can be born and a community can be grown to support them.
The works included a reception, café, event spaces, Nesta offices and co-working spaces, high levels of security and a flexible offer for collaboration.
