EMMAUS are providing strategic cost planning advice supporting the overall budget setting of the development.

The development is in it’s very early stages as part of a local initiative to provide local sports facilities for the community in Cumbria which also includes combining the two major sports teams in the town together under one roof.

This involves relocating the two teams (football team & rugby league team) and combining their training facilities within a new stadium, or adapted existing stadium.

A primary driver for this is to provide a multi-use facility for the local community as well as a sporting centre that is accessible for all.
