EMMAUS were appointed as PM and QS on the £3m Japanese Restaurant which was completed in 2022.
The 160 cover Japanese restaurant is built over two storeys in the former US embassy, located just off Grosvenor Square in Mayfair. The restaurant involves high end finishes, private dining, full catering equipment and show kitchens.
The interiors of the restaurant were spearheaded by the client who worked closely with Fabled Studio’s Tom Strother, with the restaurant split into two areas which are to represent the calm slopes and fiery centre of Mount Fuji in Japan, reflected as “Midori and Magma” within the restaurant.
